To bring in practice the saying of Samartha, 'Let all be shaped wise', Hon. Adv. Ankushraoji Tope (Ex. M.P.) established Matsyodari Shikshan Sanstha in Ambad in 1974. Jalna was a more backward district then as compared to the others ones. The first college of Matsyodari Shikshan Sanstha was opened at Ambad in 1979. The College has always laid its emphasis on 'Quality Education' and 'Malpractice-Free' examinations to stand out in the Jurisdication of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University.
Having begun with the faculties of Arts and Commerce, the college has had the faculty of science as well since 2008, envisioned by Hon. Rajeshbhaiya Tope, the secretary of the Sanstha, a move that has enabled the college to meet the challenge of producing capable youth. To promote the educaiton of computer through the management faculty, the college initiated the degree course of BCA since 2008. There are individual laboratiories on campus and a facility of education in I.T.(Information Technology) at competitive fees is available to the students.
The special features of the college are marked by the library, sports grounds and spacious building. The facilities like night study, reading resources and journals help the student acquire rudimentary as well as competitive knowledge. The college boasts of having produced a great number of research scholars and sports community at the inter-university level. To bring about the versatility among the student, the college effectively implements the co-curricular and extra-curricular activities.
This includes creative writing, drama, dance, sculpture, painting, etc. I am quite hopeful that the posterity of the academy would carry on this legacy.
The campus of the college has been eco-friendly. Besides, automated office, library and the expert members on the college staff make the college a unique edifice of education. Therefore, it is my strong advice to the student to benefit from the college to be the future of the nation and pillars of the positive social change. I welcome them all and wist all the best
